Project L.I.F.T. Updates

Project L.I.F.T. Senior Send-Off

On May 20, 2013 we are kicking off senior week with College Day. This event will celebrate our seniors who are going off to college. As a West Charlotte Family we would like to help alleviate the cost of college materials for our students and families. We are collecting items to give away to our seniors and we need YOUR help.

A July To Remember

July will mean more than 4th of July fireworks for many families in the Project L.I.F.T. zone.  On July 22 and 23 students at four Project L.I.F.T. schools will begin the 2013-2014 school year.

Students at Druid Hills and Thomasboro Academys will begin school on July 22, 2013.

Students at Bruns Academy and Walter G. Byers School will begin school on July 23, 2013.

To make sure you have all the information you need to be ready to start school in July, please:

- Update your contact information with your child's school.

- Text LIFT to 24587 for updates.

- Attend an upcoming parent meeting. Dates for the parent meetings will be sent home with your child. You will also receive a call and a text (if you have signed up to receive text messages) regarding the parent meetings.

Allenbrook Elementary, Ashley Park Pre-K-8 School, Statesville Road Elementary, Ranson Middle School and West Charlotte High School will operate on the approved CMS 2013 - 2014 school calendar, which begins on August 26, 2013.
